Mimi’s Keto Ranch Dressing

Tangy and Delicious. Homemade Keto Ranch Dressing is a great addition to any Keto kitchen.

It is surprisingly easy to make. And the taste compared to what you can purchase in the store is light years better. Honestly, this dressing even has me eating raw cucumber, all by itself. Just to taste the dressing.

It only keeps three or four days — because it has no preservatives — which is a big part of the whole deal right? So I always make it in small batches.

But we’ve never had our Keto Ranch Dressing go bad. It’s always gone before it has time to.

I will be 100 percent candid with you here. This is one of those recipes that you really need an immersion blender. Sometimes you will hear it referred to as a stick blender. Same thing.

Not only is an immersion blender the right tool for this recipe. You will find you use it more than you ever dreamed you would. Great little tool!

When an 8-year-old asks, “Can I just drink it, Mimi?” you know it’s a hit.

To make it the way we do.

immersion blender to make keto ranch dressingYou need an immersion blender. You just can’t get around it.

You can read our review of the best ones here.

You will find a lot of recipes to make this dressing in a blender. But 9 times out of 10 that has been an abysmal failure in our kitchen.

You have to hold your tongue just right and say the right special magic words and then drizzle the oil just slowly enough…or the oil separates and you have wasted your ingredients. And once the oil separates, it’s just not salvageable.

But here is the biggest problem. Even the few times the tongue and magic words and speed all come together, the dressing is never as thick if you make it in a blender as it is if you make it with an immersion blender. Not ever. And we really love the creamy thickness of this dressing that we get with the immersion blender.

The immersion blender is one of those kitchen tools we really are not sure how we lived without before we finally purchased one.

I use it every single day. Usually more than once.

The cup attachment that you see in this photograph is what you use for dressings, sauces, gravies, smoothies, that sort of thing. The interchangeable whisk that the better models come with are perfect for whipping cream or eggs — anything you need to put air into quickly for fluffing.

And here are our links to the best ingredients for our Keto Ranch Dressing recipe at the best prices we can find.

Most of these products are not widely available in local grocery markets. You will have more recognizable brands in your head.

But we have listed these products with links to them for one of two reasons — and sometimes for both of the reasons.

The product we list is equal in quality to what you typically can buy in your local store, but we found it at a lower, and maybe much lower, price. Or, the product we have listed is a quality or intensity of taste that you very likely cannot replicate in your local market. We can’t.

Each of these is a premium ingredient that is either naturally harvested in the wild or grown organically with non-GMO root stock. We have personally tried each ingredient listed here and can attest to the quality because it is in our kitchen right now.

So Frenchly is an Amazon Affiliate and we may be paid a small fee if you purchase a product through our website.

It never costs you anything and it helps keep us bringing you really good information and great recipes. You can read our complete Affiliate list and Policy here.

Just remember that no matter what the product, prices on Amazon are always subject to change. The price you see when you click through may not match the price in our graphic 100 percent. Prices reflect the date and hour of posting of this article.

So on to the recipe!

We hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

You will find other recipes for this that say to use a blender. Don't. Use an immersion blender. You will be FAR more pleased with the result, I promise.
With a blender it is very easy to get this stuff to separate. With the immersion blender, the consistency is great every single time. Fail safe.
We usually just store this in a Mason jar in the refrigerator.
